I have two brothers that live in the Phoenix area, and I love to visit them in January/February to get some sunshine. On my most recent visit, we went to Sedona for a day trip and did the hike up to Cathedral Rock. It was more scrambling than I anticipated, but the views were well worth it! We got a great view of the valley from the top! We also continued down a side trail to get to see actual Cathedral Rock, by which they say there is a strong vortex.
